Setting Goals

I have two goals for my training at the moment.

  1. Get green card as fast as possible
  2. Compete in at least one event during the summer 2015
I might aim a little low, but I guess at this point of the game that is ok. After some more practice I will be able to have more accurate and inspiring goals for my game.

Out on the Range

Yesterday was my first day of training. I went to Vallgårdens Golfklubb in Åkarp to shoot some balls on the range. My swing got better throughout the day and it made me feel pretty good. I took the session as a easy warm up and I also wanted to check if the motivational kick that I got from my first session playing golf would still hold. And it did, I still though it was fun and challenging to train golf. Vallgårdens golf track is pay and play so I believe I will go there and start to play on the track next weekend. In the mean while I'll practice my swing at home.

What is This?

I had a wonderful opportunity to have a free training session in golf in Bokskogen Golf Klubb a couple of weeks ago. During that test session I noticed that I really sucked in golf. I'm playing some floorball and hockey so I though I could hit the golf ball too, but boy was I wrong.

Sucking bad didn't make me feel too good and because of that I decided that I need to start training golf and suck at least a little less next summer. Obviously the timing is not the best to start golf, winter is closing in and the changes for outdoor practice are getting smaller. But to delay the start to spring time is just an excuse so let's get busy hitting that ball.

This blog will tell my story from a golf zero to a golf xxx. I have borrowed some clubs from a friend of mine and I also bought myself some practice balls. Let the training begin.
